Main Street Movie Company is proud to announce that writer/director Richard Dutcher is nearing completion on his upcoming film Evil Angel. He is currently supervising post-production and visual FX work on the film. Although tight-lipped about the details of the film’s story, Dutcher says: “It’s an updated take on the Lilith myth. According to Cabalistic mythology Lilith was Adam’s first wife in the Garden of Eden. Adam didn’t like her because she wasn’t submissive enough, so God banished her from the garden. She’s been wreaking havoc on earth ever since, and let’s just say I was interested in capturing some of that havoc on film.” Filmed in and around Salt Lake City, Evil Angel stars Ving Rhames (Mission: Impossible, Pulp Fiction), Ava Gaudet (Broadway production of Rent) and newcomer Kristopher Shephard. Legendary cinematographer Bill Butler (Jaws, The Conversation, Grease) joined Mr. Dutcher’s team as the Director of Photography.
